Ex-UN weapons inspector Scott Ritter’s home in upstate New York was raided by the FBI as part of a federal investigation, according to reports.
Agents and state police could be seen searching Ritter’s home in Delmar on Wednesday afternoon, WNYT reported.
The raid came a day after Ritter, the former chief weapons inspector in Iraq, joined Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in an Albany courtroom for a hearing over whether the independent presidential candidate should be on New York’s November ballot, the Times Union reported.
Ritter recently had his passport seized by the US Department of State as he tried to fly to Russia for a conference, according to the report.
