I believe that GMOs need to be marked because to have the consumer to have the knowledge to understand what is in them.

 @8R2ZX4Kanswered…4yrs4Y

Yes, I trust the safety of GMOs but believe they should be seperately labled just for customer convencience.

 @8MNYGHJanswered…4yrs4Y

yes , food companies should have to list what is in the product they are selling and they should have to list the side effects of the things in what they are selling

I don't now and nor would I care as long it isn't going to kill someone or starve someone to death.

 @8WK6H92 from Colorado  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, consumers have a right to know what is in their food but it also shouldn't be taught like its harmful because GMOs are the most promising solution to ending world hunger

 @7M2TNCN from South Carolina  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, and additional labels should be provided to identify whether the food fits various popular diets.

Yes, I believe that producers that sell food with GMOs should be labeled because if the people want to know they should know what is in the food and whether it's GMO or not.

  @RickStewart from Iowa  answered…3yrs3Y

Producers should be allowed to label their products in whatever manner they determine their customers prefer. Government intervention adds systemic costs and decreases the flow of information to consumers. Producers who lie or deceive their customers will soon be driven out, perhaps aided by lawsuits in civil courts.

Yes, people have the right to know what's in the food they are eating, but a lot of people would prefer for GMOs to be banned, for at least one of these reasons: either because they don't trust the science of the engineering of food, or instead because they don't trust the motives of the food companies selling the food, or both, and to top it all off, we, for thousands of years at that, have had selectively bred crops for thousands of years, and labeling will only and an unfounded stigma TO the science, so if food is not going to be labeled as either being genetically engineere…  Read more

Yes, GMO's are very important to keep the world fed for food and prevent famine. However, consumers have the right to know what they are eating.

No, if we labeled crops with GMOs, there would be no crop without a label. GMOs keep everyone healthy and improve the quality of the food.

 @8MF2HYV from Maine  answered…4yrs4Y

No, not for GMOs. But the FDA should be regulating and mandating transparency about humane animal practices, use of antibiotics and toxic pesticides.

 @8MR6SHM from Illinois  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8PBLGKM from Massachusetts  answered…4yrs4Y

No, I don't think they would have to but it would be helpful if they did

 @8Q5CYSP from Colorado  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes. Not only do customers have a right to know what's in their food, but GMOs shouldn't be as evolved as they are in livestock, nevertheless hidden from consumers.

 @8RW26DX from North Carolina  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but only when there can be a harm to one's health from consumption.

 @8SJW849 from Florida  answered…4yrs4Y

Whether or not the food is labeled as a GMO should be up to the company.

 @8TF44GJ from Washington  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, I trust the science of responsible food engineering but I don’t trust the motives of the food companies selling them, and consumers have a right to know what is in their food

 @8TK79Z6 from Washington D.C.  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, while I believe that GMOs are perfectly safe and the future towards zero hunger, people also have a right to know.

 @8TWBTT9 from North Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

They should label GMOs, but they shouldn't be required to if they haven't had help from the government while creating the products. Most likely they did, so they most likely will be required.

 @8V3VYRH from Wisconsin  answered…4yrs4Y

We should know what we eat because there are some things that people could be allergic to and we would never know

 @8VL9DP4 from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

No, because GMOs are typically not bad and most people can even name why they avoid food with GMOs.

 @8W7666S from Virginia  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes the consumer should know but we have been slectively breeding crops for thousands of yrs

 @8W9BYRC from Pennsylvania  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but we have selectively bred crops for thousands of years so I don't really see the need to. But it's fine if they want t or not

  @8XD6BY6 from Nevada  answered…3yrs3Y

No, if the producer wants to then they can but it’s not the governments job to protect our health, people can do that themselves.

 @8XGHN4X from Missouri  answered…3yrs3Y

Producers should label what has been genetically engineered in the food they made so the consumers know exactly what they are getting and are sure that its safe or not.

 @8YB8NY3 from Nevada  answered…3yrs3Y

No, the government has no right to tell producers what they can an can’t do in regards to the labeling of their product.
